Coach Compliance Training
As part of your rowing coaching you are expected to keep certain other training requirements up to date to enable you to continue practicing. This includes your First Aid Training, your Safeguarding Training and your understanding of Clean Sport.
During this year all BR Coaches and other BR members will be issued with a new BR Membership Card to replace the old style ‘do-it-yourself’ membership cards. The difference with these is that they will have an automated photograph AND details of your coaching and training status.
Therefore if your First Aid, Safeguarding or Clean Sport has lapsed it will be reflected on your card.
In the Eastern Region we have recognised that it is not always easy to fit this training in when you are busy working and coaching so we have created a Coach Compliance Day where you can complete all three certificates on the same day.
During 2019 we ran two Coach Compliance Days in February and November. Both were in Cambridge and very well attended so more dates will be fixed for 2020.
