Having a go at Sweep Oar – summer half term Monday 30th May 2022
We have set up an afternoon to offer sweep oar experience for rowing juniors aged 16 – 18. The afternoon will begin with a session in the rowing tank in Cambridge followed by an outing in an 8+ on the river Cam
These sessions are intended for those that have been sculling for several months (i.e., not beginners) and priority will be to those in clubs where the opportunity to experience sweep oar rowing is not available (or very limited). There will be a cap of 3 athletes from any one club. There will be a limit on places and if oversubscribed we will aim to set up another session at another date/time.
WHEN Monday 30th May 2022
1.15 start prompt at Downing tank
4.30 finish at Cantabrigian rowing club
COST £5 per person
